A BETTER WAY TO SUPPORT STUDENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH EATING DISORDERS
Increasingly many young adults are being held back from furthering their education and starting careers because of an eating disorder. EDFC’s current focus is to a establish a pilot project in London, Ontario which specifically address the need for treatment and support for university and college students. The Project is named The Harbour. To learn more about this unique initiative and our invitation to partner, please view our presentation.
On October 23, 2024, the Eating Disorders Foundation of Canada held a Benefit Concert at the London Music Hall.
The performance of the Revolution Rock Revue was matched by the energy and enthusiasm of the audience assembled to both support and celebrate the opening of The Harbour in November 2024.
The Harbour is the place for an innovative treatment approach for young adults with an eating disorder made possible by the donations of individuals, foundations and corporations.
The evening raised over $25,000 to provide treatment for eating disorders and a further $60,000 from Corporations and Foundations
